Myeongdong Rejuran: Why Do Results Feel Different Than You Expected?
Hello.
I’m Lee Won-jin, director of Kind Global Clinic, and I take the time to listen to each patient’s story.

Rejuran—
if you’re interested in skincare, you’ve probably heard of it.
It’s one of the treatments people consider when sun exposure and heat reduce skin elasticity and make pores look enlarged.

“My skin looks much better.”
“I’m not sure it looks as different as I expected.”
As you look through reviews, you may find that people’s experiences differ in this way.
Why do people differ in how satisfied they are with Myeongdong Rejuran?
In this article, we’ll look at how Rejuran works in the skin and why results can vary.
1. How does Rejuran work?

Some people think Myeongdong Rejuran is similar to
fillers, which add volume, or Botox, which affects muscle movement.
However, Rejuran primarily uses PN, a substance derived from salmon DNA,
to improve the condition of damaged skin
and support its recovery process.
It works differently from fillers and Botox.

To explain in a little more detail,
as we age, our skin’s ability to produce collagen decreases, and it may take longer to recover after irritation.
UV exposure
Fine dust
Insufficient sleep
Stress
Repeated exposure to these and other factors can gradually affect the condition of the skin.
When PN is injected into the dermis, the skin responds as though it needs to create an environment for recovery,
stimulating collagen production and initiating the skin’s own recovery process.
You can think of it as being similar to a paper cut gradually healing over time.

So rather than suddenly adding volume or changing facial contours after treatment,
the skin may feel smoother,
feel less dry,
and improve in overall condition.
In other words, it’s best understood not as a treatment that dramatically changes your appearance in a short time, but as
a treatment that helps build a foundation for healthy skin
over time.
2. What factors affect the results?

To begin with,
the response to Myeongdong Rejuran can vary depending on the person’s skin and lifestyle.
Even with the same treatment,
skin differs between someone in their 20s and someone in their 50s,
and dry and oily skin have different characteristics.
Some people spend most of their time indoors,
while others are often exposed to strong sunlight.
Smoking, sleep habits, stress levels, and everyday skincare routines can also have an effect.
Because these factors all play a part, results can vary.

First, we assess the skin to see how it may respond to Rejuran,
and, when needed, it’s important to consider treatments suited to the skin’s current condition.
For example, if the skin barrier has weakened and dryness is pronounced,
Rejuran may be combined with a laser treatment suited to the skin to first improve its condition.
If aging has reduced skin elasticity, Thermage or Ultherapy can be used to help improve firmness,
while Rejuran may also be considered to support skin condition and tissue recovery.

Who the treatment is for,
the condition of their skin,
and which treatments are combined
can all affect what you can expect from a combination of treatments.
So rather than judging the results based only on other people’s experiences or reviews,
it’s important to discuss your current skin condition and overall health with a medical professional.
A response to Rejuran is influenced not only by the treatment itself,
but also by your skin’s current condition
and the treatment plan tailored to it.
Please keep this in mind.

Today, we looked at how Rejuran works in the skin and why people respond differently.
Myeongdong Rejuran is a treatment that “focuses on the skin’s environment” to help maintain healthy skin.

Rather than focusing on immediate changes, it’s a treatment where you observe changes as they develop over time.
Rather than making a quick judgment, give it time and watch for your skin’s natural health and gradual changes.
Thank you. This was Lee Won-jin.
