many people are curious about how the two devices differ.

Especially if you’ve had a treatment with the original device before but didn’t see the changes you expected,

1. How Shurink works

Many people think of lifting treatments as pulling the skin’s surface upward.

In reality, however, they work a little differently.

Rather than directly pulling sagging tissue upward,

the deeper structures that support the skin gradually tighten, creating a more defined improvement in firmness.

One treatment that promotes this kind of change is “Myeongdong Shurink Universe.”

Shurink delivers ultrasound energy into the skin, targeting the fascia layer.

2) and the skin tissue stimulates collagen production as it heals.

As this regenerative process is repeated, the deeper structures of the skin gradually become firmer.

Over time, this can lead to improved skin firmness and more defined facial contours.

2. What Changes Can You Expect?

As contraction and recovery take place within the skin,

the visible changes can be grouped into three main areas.

3. How Does It Differ from the First-Generation Device?

Myeongdong Shurink Universe is a second-generation device developed from the original Shurink.

Its basic mechanism is the same, but it has been improved to deliver energy more densely and precisely.

One of the main differences is the “number of ultrasound points (coagulation points)” created with each shot.

The original device delivered energy through around 17 points per shot,

whereas Shurink Universe creates 400 coagulation points per shot.

This allows for more even and precise treatment, even when using the same energy.

Another difference is the configuration of the “treatment tips.”

The original Shurink tips were flat and straight, making them difficult to use around curved areas such as the eyes and jawline.

Shurink Universe adds a tip for the eye area and a pen-shaped tip.

This makes it possible to treat narrow or curved areas with greater precision.

Areas that need focused treatment, such as a double chin or deep cheek fat, can be addressed precisely,

while energy can be distributed evenly over broader areas, such as the entire face.

Another advantage is that shorter treatment times can mean less discomfort^^

Even so, an upgraded device does not guarantee the same results for everyone.
